End
Background:
The project is located in the Silvertree Subdivision, west of New Orleans Square. Offsite flow from an undeveloped tract flows through multiple properties eventually reaching the applicant’s property. The runoff has cause erosion in her yard and around her fence posts and mud is washing from under the fence into her neighbor’s property. When it stops raining, the applicant states water continues to flow through her property like a small stream for a long period of time.
Approximately 18 acres of undeveloped offsite flow flows to the applicant’s property. PSO owns an empty lot adjacent to the unplatted land. There are transmission lines that are on the PSO property as well.
Staff is requesting $50,000.00 of the 2018 General Obligation Bond Proposition 6 for funds to design drainage improvements to capture the stormwater and convey it to the storm sewer system along W Quantico PL.
This area flows to Aspen Creek.
