Approval of and authorization to execute Budget Amendment Number 18 for Fiscal Year 2024

Background:
The Municipal Budget Act adopted by the City Council allows the City to amend the budget at any time during the year for necessary expenditures incurred that exceed the original budget or when circumstances warrant the action.
Budget Amendment Number 18 changes a portion of the original appropriation for Economic Development to an appropriation to transfer funds to BAEDA for the purchase of land and appropriates fund balance for projects that were expected to have been expended in Fiscal Year 2023 or were inadvertently not included in the original Fiscal Year 2024 Budget.
Cost: $1,250,000.00
