Approval of and authorization to execute an Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with CEC Corporation for the Design of Olive Avenue Improvements from Kenosha Street to Albany Street (Project Number ST1710)

Background:
The Olive Avenue (South 129th East Avenue) Improvements from Kenosha Street (East 71st Street South) to Albany Street (East 61st Street South) is a 2014 Streets GO Bond project. The Bond issue calls for widening Olive Avenue from Kenosha Street to Albany Street including required appurtenances and acquisition of required easements and right-of-way. Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications were received for this project and CEC Corporation was chosen by a selection committee consisting of Streets and Stormwater and Engineering and Construction Departments.
The Engineering and Construction Department prepared the attached agreement with CEC Corporation in the amount of $348,450.00. Funding for the design and construction work will be from the 2014 Streets General Obligation Bond.
Cost: $348,450.00
