Review of bids received and award of the most advantageous bid to Clean Uniform and approval of and authorization to execute a Service Agreement for non-public safety employee uniform rental service
..End
Background:
The City last bid its non-public safety employee uniform rental service in March 2011. Clean Uniform was the successful bidder. The contract period was for one year, ending June 30, 2012. The service agreement was renewed each year and currently expires June 30, 2016. The Logistics Division of the General Services Department requested and sought bids for a new uniform rental services agreement. Eight (8) vendors were solicited to bid on this service and four (4) bids were received.

The bid package also includes pant rental, which in the past, was accomplished through a payroll deduction, but now will become part of the uniform rental service. The bid provides for a one-year agreement term with the option to renew annually for up four additional years based on available funding.
Funds are budgeted by each Department for uniform rental services.
