Background:
In alignment with the budgetary allocation in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement (STCI) budget, funds have been approved for the acquisition of a new ¾ ton crew cab four-wheel-drive truck, identified under Project Number 2460020.
To optimize Broken Arrow’s resources and capitalize on cost efficiencies, Maintenance Services Department recommends the purchase of the new ¾ ton four-wheel-drive truck be executed under the Oklahoma statewide Contract number SW035. This contract facilitates municipal agencies across the State of Oklahoma to procure vehicles at the state contract price, offering a substantial cost advantage. The utilization of the State of Oklahoma Contract SW035 ensures compliance with budgetary constraints while securing a high-quality asset for the Parks and Recreation Department.
Following a thorough evaluation of available options, the Maintenance Services Department recommends the approval and award to Vance Country Ford of Norman.
