Background:
The City of Broken Arrow desires to utilize contract staffing services to support operations across multiple departments, including engineering, administrative, information technology, legal, finance, and other specialized functions. These services provide flexibility in workforce management, assist with recruitment challenges, and allow the City to evaluate candidates prior to full-time employment.
Hunt Professional Recruiting LLC has submitted a Service Agreement to provide direct-hire recruiting services. The agreement establishes a framework under which the City may authorize recruitment services for specific positions in writing. The agreement does not obligate the City to utilize the firm for any particular position and allows the City to continue its independent recruitment efforts.

Under the terms of the agreement, the City will only incur costs if it elects to hire a candidate submitted by Hunt Professional Recruiting LLC for an authorized position.
* The placement fee is equal to twenty percent (20%) of the hired candidate's first-year base salary
* "Base salary" excludes benefits, retirement contributions, incentives, and other forms of compensation
* No additional fees, expenses, or costs will be incurred unless approved in advance by the City
* Payment is due within thirty (30) days following the employee's first day of employment
All expenditures are subject to budgetary approval and available appropriations.
