Approval of and authorization to execute change orders with CentralSquare Technologies for Getac interface and CAD API

End

Background:

On May 18, 2021, the City entered into a contract with CentralSquare Technologies to provide an interface between the Getac Body Worn Camera system and the CentralSquare CAD system in the amount of $3,740.00.  CentralSquare has not been able to schedule programming of the interface due to a backlog in software programming.  CentralSquare proposed a new alternative of using their CAD Application Program Interface (API).  The new CAD API will not only be used for the Getac project but any other new interface needing data for the CAD system.  The cost of the CAD API will be an annual subscription of $7,800.00 and a startup cost of $2,340.00.  The total first year/startup cost will be $10,140.00.  CentralSquare will apply the credit from the Getac change order to the CAD API leaving the initial cost of $6,400.00.
