title

Consideration, discussion and possible approval of  proposed amendments to the Downtown Advisory Board By-Laws

End

Background:

The Broken Arrow Downtown Advisory Board (DAB) By-Laws currently provide for a seven (7) member board when there are actually nine (9) members.  This discrepancy should be remedied.

Also, in order to bring it into line with the DAB Ordinance found at Broken Arrow Code Section 2-230 et seq., Article 4-1 of the By-Laws should be amended to reflect the City Council member shall not serve as either Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson.

Staff recommends that the DAB approve the proposed amendments to the By-Laws.
