Background:
The Capital Equipment Replacement Project is for the annual replacement of equipment at the Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA) Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (HCWWTP). This project is to replace capital equipment identified in the strategic asset management plan. Equipment identified is replacement of east Grit Collector #2, fall protection at Gravity Thickeners and Aeration Basins, Lighting Upgrades to the Operations Building, and RDT Building Odor Control Rehabilitation.
The design fee for this project is $57,660.00 of which BAMA and TMUA each pay 50% ($28,830.00). Funding for the improvements will be from the Utilities Department Operations and Maintenance (O&M) budget.
