Background:
In 2021 the City of Broken purchased the Public Works Field Office building from Windstream, for the use of both the Utilities and Streets & Stormwater departments. A space study has been performed to determine the best utilization of the space. The Public Works Field Office has been renovated in alignment with the space study, which has led to an increase in vehicles on site. Ongoing construction for improvements to the Operations Center Administration Building are still on-going. A conceptual site plan design has been provided for improvements to the layout for employee parking, city vehicle parking, equipment storage, commodity storage, drainage improvements, and general site improvements.
City staff negotiated Amendment 1 with Cowan Group Engineering to prepare the Construction Documents, bidding assistance, and construction services for the site improvements based on the previous design concept for $118,00.00.
Cost: $118,000.00
