Approval of bids received and award of the most advantageous bid to Premier Truck Group for the purchase of one dump truck for the Streets Division

Background:
The Streets Division of the Streets and Stormwater Department has budgeted for the purchase of one dump truck. Funds for this purchase are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $130,000.00, project number 185318.
Bid requests for the dump truck were sent to eleven vendors, five bids were received. Two bids did not meet specifications. Base pricing and selected options for the dump truck is reflected in the attached bid tabulation. Staff recommends that the Council award the lowest responsible bid in the amount of $121,682.00 to Premier Truck for the purchase of one 2018 Freightliner 114SD with Hilbilt dump body.
Cost: $121,682.00
