Background:
Project 156004 is funded through the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $45,000.00. The work consists of crack fill, sealcoat and restriping of the existing parking lot located near the Nienhuis Park Football Complex.
Bids were advertised on February 26 and March 4, 2016, and bids were opened on March 23, 2016. Nine (9) companies were contacted for bids. Six (6) companies submitted bids. The lowest responsible bidder with options was Brashear Pavement Coatings, LLC, in the amount of $35,900.00. Staff recommends that the bid be awarded to Brashear
