Background:
City Councilors will attend the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference on March 9-13, 2024. On March 13, Broken Arrow City Council members will meet with Broken Arrow’s federal Congressional delegation as part of the Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Federal and local partnerships are critical to municipalities as they improve decision-making that will impact and improve Broken Arrow’s quality of life and the viability of projects.
To better effectuate the City’s talking points with legislators, it is recommended that the Council discuss and develop a list of priorities to communicate on Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill.
