Background:
The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Gerald and Julia Bowman, the owners. Parcel 4.0 consists of 17,861 square feet, generally located at the Southeast corner of 9th and New Orleans in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 18 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. The Bowman's have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:
Permanent Right of Way/ Fee Simple: 17,861 SQUARE FEET (SF) $4.00 SF = $71,444.00
Relocate Yard Signage: $350.00
Settlement Costs: $8,930.50
Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $80,720.00
A copy of the signed acceptance of the City's offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on August 19, 2025, City Council Claims List.
