Acceptance of and authorization to execute the Change Order #3 with Paragon Contractors, LLC for the Jasper St & Aspen Intersection Improvements (ST2031)

Background:
The Jasper Street and Aspen Intersection project is to widen the intersection and mill and overlay Aspen from Jasper to Shreveport.
Change Order #3 addresses the following additions/deletions/changes to the contract:
- Shoring for Installation of 60” HDPE at Creek Due to Unsuitable Soil
- Waterline
- Restock Casing Fee
- Remove Lime and Lime Stabilized subgrade
- There is a 20 day change in contract time.
The total cost for Change Order #3 amounts to $189,921.01
The additional cost associated with these changes is as follows:

This Change Order(s): $189,921.01
Total Cost of Change Orders: $216,775.63
Original Contract Amount: $2,373,118.11
