Presentation of Certificates of Recognition to Brayden Phillips and Cooper White, 8th graders at Centennial Middle School, for their achievements as members of the Broken Arrow High School Fishing Club Team

Background:
Two young Broken Arrow anglers, Brayden Phillips and Cooper White, both 12 years old, going into 8th grade, are members of the Broken Arrow High School Fishing Club Team because there isn’t a Juniors team. Tournaments are broken down into “Juniors,” 8th grade and below, and High School, 9th - 12th.
They, as 8th graders, achieved:
• 2024 Oklahoma High School Fishing Northern Juniors Angler of the Year
• 2024 The Bass Federation Oklahoma State Runner-Up
• 2024 The Bass Federation Junior Worlds Qualifier (finished 21st out of 75 teams)
• Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Nation Tournament Champions on Keystone Lake September 2024
