Title:

title

Approval of and authorization to execute Amendment 2 to the Professional Consultant Agreement with LandPlan Consultants Inc for the Design of the Sustainability Park (Project No. 2214010)

End

Background:

The site of the Sustainability Park (Project No. 2214010) is located at the corner of E. Dallas Street and Lynn Lane (825 E. Dallas Street, Broken Arrow). The primary features of this park will include a Small Gateway Sign with roses, a small butterfly garden, with a shrubbery screen for the surrounding houses. This park will function as a gateway park like the one located at N. Elm Pl. and W Broadway Ave.

Following a selection process that included Broken Arrow Parks Department and staff members from Engineering and Construction, LandPlan Consultants Inc. was selected for design of the project.

In July of 2023 Amendment 1 with the Landplan was approved by council to make Drawing changes to better match the changed vision of the community and a cost estimate for the design changes. As the intersection of Dallas and Lynn lane is improved the plans for the Sustainability Park have been incorporated in the scope of that construction project.

City staff negotiated Amendment 2 with Landplan to provide Construction Administration for the park improvements. The agreement is for $11,193.00.
