Approval of and authorization to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with RL Shears Company, P.C., for Detailed Design of Downtown Main Street Streetscape Phase IV
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow entered into a contract with RL Shears Company, P.C. in November 2015 for the schematic design of the Downtown Main Street Streetscape Phase IV project. Since then, the schematic design work has been completed and was reviewed in a meeting held on 23 December 2015.
RL Shears Company, P.C. submitted a proposal for producing the detailed design and construction bid documents for the Phase IV project. Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Consultant Agreement has been prepared and is attached. A cost of $445,530.00 is proposed for the design and preparation of construction plans and specifications, as well as Bidding and Construction Phase services.
Staff recommends award of Amendment no. 1 to the Professional Consultant Agreement with RL Shears Company, P.C. Funding will be from the 2014 Streets GO Bond and Vision 2025 Surplus Funds.
Cost: $445,530.00
