Presentation and update regarding the First Annual Community Services Expo
End
Background:
The First Annual Community Services Expo will be hosted by the City of Broken Arrow and held on February 18, 2023 at Stoney Creek Convention Center. The purpose of the Expo is to expand on what was formerly known as the HOA Workshop, and host an event that will serve as another transparency tool to educate and engage with all Broken Arrow citizens. There will be opportunity for our citizens to meet face-to-face with directors and employees of each department throughout the city and to learn about the services that the city provides. Staff will be on hand from 9am-1pm to answer questions, share important news and discuss pertinent topics. Additionally, there will be approximately twenty 20-minute breakout sessions, each featuring an important educational topic, as well as two longer (45 minute) sessions hosted by the Broken Arrow Fire Department and Broken Arrow Police Department.
