Background:
The establishment of an innovation district in South Broken Arrow holds the potential to catalyze economic growth, create jobs, attract investment, improve quality of life, and position the city as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing in the region.
Branding plays a crucial role in the success of marketing the innovation district. To drive success in the establishment of an innovation district, the Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with their Innovation District Committee and various community leaders began a process to create and determine branding for the innovation district.
Jennifer Conway, President and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation, presented logos and names for consideration to the Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority on April 16, 2024. The Authority choose the name “Arrow Forge” and asked for logo options to be presented in City of Broken Arrow colors for consideration at a subsequent meeting.
The Economic Development Corporation is asking the Authority to consider the revised colors and select a finalist for the official Arrow Forge logo.
