Background:
The proposed project at 3729 South 195th East Ave. is to design drainage improvements of the existing drainage system. One option that will be considered is to relocate the overland drainage underground.
Stormwater flows from E 37th Ct. to the inlet by means of a concrete channel in an easement across 4 properties.
Staff investigated the site and found that the inlet structure is deteriorating.
The concrete channel leading to the inlet has a history of maintenance concerns.
The estimated design cost to engineer drainage improvements is $35,000.00 in 2024 Dollars.
Staff is requesting $35,000.00 of the 2018 GO Bond, Proposition 6 for design costs.
