Background:
Section 23-136 of the Broken Arrow Code addresses prohibition of parking in certain areas. It provides that the council, by motion or resolution, is hereby authorized to establish parking time limits or to prohibit parking on designated streets and parts of streets, by having appropriate signs placed thereon. In order to provide safe and adequate travel lanes for the motoring public, it is recommended that ‘No Parking’ signs should be installed on the north side of the 2200 block of West Detroit.
