Background:
The resident at 1304 El Paso contacted the city about some erosion on her property that was affecting her fence. City Staff investigated and found that the erosion was from runoff from the City owned Park Grove Cemetery. The runoff caused extensive erosion along a channel on the rear of the property. The erosion also was threatening several utilities in the channel. City crews regraded the channel, utilities were moved by the utility company, and City crews armored and sodded the channel. The stormwater division is asking that $24,240.25 be moved back into the Haikey Creek Basin fund.
