Approval of and authorization to execute a purchase order with Schneider Electric for the replacement of lighting controllers in the Rose District
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow executed a contract to begin upgrades on lighting in the Rose District in March of 2024. This project included several upgrades to gateway signage along with phase 1 of upgrades to the lighting controls for the district. Staff coordinated both phases of this project with Schneider electric to improve the usability and longevity of the equipment. This phase will update the current control modules to allow communication and coordination of the entire district through a single interface. Communication equipment and other ancillary upgrades were completed during phase one.
Staff is seeking to execute a purchase order for $86,250.00 with Schneider Electric utilizing funds approved in the FY2027 budget identified as project 2717080 for the installation and configuration of five (5) G4 Powerlink controllers to bring the older control cabinets up-to-date.
