Background:
This Fleet Maintenance facility is critical to the operations of the City through routine maintenance, improvements, and upgrades the team performs on equipment. A new heating and air project was design, bid, and awarded back in April 7, 2026.
The approval of the bid award and execution of the contract was provided by Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA). The funding for the project is also provided under BAMA as a capital improvement project.
The bid award contract was mistakenly prepared and executed in the City of Broken Arrow’s name instead of Broken Arrow Municipal Authority. The requested action is to ratify the contract as an agreement of BAMA and confirm BAMA as the proper contracting party. No other items have on the contract have changed.
