Approval of a Special Events Permit for Broken Arrow High School’s Annual Homecoming Parade

Background:
Broken Arrow High School will celebrate its annual Homecoming on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Broken Arrow Public Schools is requesting to have their Homecoming Parade on October 29, 2015, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Parade line-up will begin at 4:00 p.m. All parade participants will enter the staging area on city streets from Freeport to Detroit and from Ash Avenue to 1st Street. They will merge onto Main Street at College and begin marching down Main Street at approximately 5:00 p.m. The parade will end at the Performing Arts Center.
A Special Events Permit has been issued in the past for this annual event. Staff recommends that the Council approve the Permit.
Cost: $3,200.00
