Background:

On February 25, 2025, the attached Ordinance was previewed by the City Council. In accordance with directions to staff, the Ordinance was amended to delete the requirement of an exotic animal committee. Now, an applicant for a wild or exotic animal permit shall only require approval of a qualified veterinarian and the City’s animal control supervisor.
