Background:

James Hoffmeister, the owner of the property, is requesting the vacation of a 5 foot Utility Easement located on the north boundary of Lot Five (5), Block Three (3) of the Kenwood Hills Second Addition, with potential plans to purchase the adjacent lot to the north for personal use. This easement application is a companion to a second easement closure on Lot six (6), Block three (3).

There are no known utilities in this easement. Staff anticipates closure proceedings in district court and has no concerns regarding the closure request.  Staff and Utility companies are in agreement with the closure.
