Approval of and authorization to execute a Clinical Rotation Agreement between Rogers State University and the City of Broken Arrow

Background:
Broken Arrow Fire Department has multiple clinical rotation agreements with several area EMS education programs.
Rogers State University is a multi-year partner with the city. This agreement provides the school with a required field training setting for both EMT and Paramedic programs. The agreement provides the opportunity for students to ride along on ambulances with Fire Department personnel to gain supervised patient care experience.
This agreement is beneficial to the Fire Department as well as the University by providing the opportunity for recruitment of outstanding RSU EMT and Paramedic students for the department while the student gains field experience.
