Presentation regarding update on the Broken Arrow Micro Transit Program

End

Background:

Broken Arrow Micro-Transit is an on demand, curb to curb public transportation program. The City of Broken Arow launched this program, in partnership with Metro-Link Tulsa (formerly Tulsa Transit), on March 18th, 2024.

Broken Arrow Micro-Transit meets people where they are, and takes them where they need to be, within the limitations of the pilot program geographic boundaries. This program is affordable public transportation with a cost of $2 for a 3-hour ticket, or $4 for a day pass. Additionally, the program is free for all veterans, super seniors (75+) and minors (18 and younger), and we offer discounts for our seniors (65+).

Phase II of the pilot program has been completed, and a survey was conducted to explore expanding the service area and service days for Phase III of the pilot program.
