Approval of and authorization to execute the Traffic Calming Policy for East Dover Street between North 11th Street and North 13th Street in the Carriage Crossing Subdivision

Background:
Ms. Christina Terneus, a project sponsor for the Carriage Crossing Subdivision, contacted the Street and Stormwater Department requesting the implementation of the Traffic Calming Policy for the subject street. A traffic survey was conducted and results were as follows.
85th Percentile Speed (MPH) 30mph
Average Speed (MPH ) 24
Number of Vehicles 506
Based on the criteria established in the Traffic Calming Policy the above street is submitted to City Council for approval for traffic calming methods.
If approved, the speed hump will be installed after the street rehabilitation project in the subdivision is complete.
Cost: $5,500
