Approval of and authorization to execute Change Order #1 with Ground Level LLC for the Adam’s Creek Wetland Improvements project (SW1913)

Background:
The project will be to construct a low impact development gazebo and parking lot to enjoy the wetlands of the Adams Creek Basin. The project also entails planting and installing a drainage system underneath the parking lot. The notice to proceed with construction was issued July 8, 2024.
The project was advertised on March 12th and 19th, 2024. There were five (5) bids received on April 2, 2024 with the lowest responsible bidder being Ground Level LLC with a bid of $348,763.00.
Change Order #1 addresses the following additions/deletions/changes to the contract:
- This change order deducts the remaining quantities out of the contract and will release Ground Level of all responsibility of the project. The project was delayed due to ROW issues and the project would need to be re-bid once the ROW issues have been resolved.
The total cost for Change Order #1 amounts to ($310,262.60)
