Background:
The Stoneridge and Elm Stormwater Diversion system is included on the 2014 Stormwater Facilities and Improvements General Obligation Bond projects.

The purpose of the project is to divert stormwater flows from the Stoneridge Towne Center development (including St. John's Hospital and surrounding areas) northwesterly towards the City of Broken Arrow owned Battle Creek Lake.

The diversion of stormwater flows to that lake that will detain for developed flows from the existing and future developments in that area, and will improve drainage conditions for properties downstream in the upper portions of the Middle Branch of Haikey Creek watershed, including the crossing of Highway 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) and the industrial & residential areas south of the highway.

The project was advertised for bids on November 8th and 15th, 2017. Bids were opened on December 5, 2017. Eight (8) bids were received. The low bidder was Cherokee Pride Construction with a bid of $273,350.00. The certified bid tabulation is attached.

Staff recommends award of the bid for the Stoneridge and Elm Stormwater Diversion System to Cherokee Pride Construction in the amount $273,350.00.

Funding for the project is available in the 2014 Stormwater GO Bond.

Cost: $273,350.00
