Background:
The Houston Street Widening from Garnett Road to Olive Avenue project widens that mile from a three lane to a five lane road. This project has dealt with record weather and utility delays.
Change Order #4 addresses the following additions/deletions/changes to the contract:
- Due to delays due to utilities and the weather, the traffic control has overrun the original cost.
- There is a 140 day change in contract time. This is due to weather data showing 33 days where the weather cause significant delays. This also includes a major utility delay from several different companies.
The total cost for Change Order #4 amounts to $20,221.60
The additional cost associated with these changes is as follows:

Original Contract Amount: $5,718,000.00
