Background:
On October 16, 2012, the City of Broken Arrow approved an Interlocal Agreement with the State of Oklahoma, ex rel. Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the period of July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013. This Agreement provided for four (4) one-year renewals by agreement of the parties. Pursuant to the Agreement, DPS agrees to maintain its Driver’s License Testing Facility in a facility which is currently being leased by the City.
Before the Council is an offer by DPS to renew the Agreement for the period of July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016.
