Background:
The design agreement that the Engineering & Construction Department negotiated with Garver, LLC for this project includes improvements and widening of 9th Street from New Orleans Street to Washington Street. During the design process it was determined that there were utility conflicts present with an ONG gas line. This amendment to the design will result in revised set of plans to be used in finalizing utility relocation plans. It also includes design updates to the storm sewer system to avoid utilities, adjustment of sidewalk and grading locations to limit the amount of fill over existing gas lines, and removal of drainage systems in part of the project while maintaining positive overland drainage.
Cost: $25,750.00
