Background:

During the period of December 26 -28 areas of Broken Arrow received in excess of 7 inches of rain. As a result there were road closures in the areas that typically flood. However, two areas of significant concern are the retaining walls at Hillside Drive west of Lynn Lane and the Liberty Parkway Trail immediately west of Lynn Lane. In each case the roadway and trail have been closed until the retaining wall and roadway/trails are repaired.  At the meeting Mr. Spurgeon will summarize what has occurred and the action steps to repair both areas.
