Background:
On March 21, 2023, Broken Arrow City Council approved and authorized the Engineering firm, BKL, Inc., to design roadway, stormwater, gravity sanitary sewer, and water for Arrow Forge, located south of Florence Street between Olive Avenue and Aspen Avenue. Arrow Forge includes 4,700 feet of asphalt roadway, 960 feet of sidewalk, 8,326 linear feet of curb and gutter, 2,509 linear feet of storm sewer and associated appurtenances, 6,720 feet of waterline, and 4,060 feet of gravity sewer and associated appurtenances.
Engineering and Construction Department staff (E&C), working in conjunction with BKL, Inc., prepared final plans and documents for bidding. The project was advertised on August 20th and August 27th, 2024. Six (6) bids were received and opened on September 10th, 2024. The Certified Bid Tabulation is attached. The lowest responsible bidder was Cherokee Pride Construction, Inc. with a total bid of $4,627,304.53. The Engineers Estimate for the project is $7,215,176.85.
