Approval of and authorization to execute agreement with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company (ONG) for the relocation of existing ONG facilities in support of City of Broken Arrow project ST1411A - Albany Street (61st Street South) South Side Drainage Improvements
End
Background:
City of Broken Arrow project ST1411A will provide new storm water drainage piping to improve drainage along Albany Street from east of 9th Street to 23rd Street. The relocation (lowering) of about 118 feet and the removal of about 100 feet of an existing 4-inch medium pressure ONG gas line is necessary because the location of the line interferes with proposed storm sewer piping.
Some of this relocation work will take place in the roadway right-of-way, and some will take place within a utility easement. Per the ONG Estimated Gas Facilities Relocation Cost (attached), the City is responsible for 31.30% of the total relocation costs (for the work that is to be done in the utility easement, which is $5,451.55). ONG is responsible for 68.70% of the total relocation costs (for the work that is to be done in the roadway right-of-way, which is $11,965.55).
Cost: $5,451.55
