Background:
The law firm of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP. Currently represents the City in various legal matters. The City is a party to a class action lawsuit against the manufacturers and distributors of opioid prescription drugs and other related defendants including Purdue Pharma. The law firm of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP represents Purdue Pharma. The attached Waiver of Conflict of Interest provides that the City waives its right to assert a potential conflict of interest so that Purdue Pharma may continue to be represented by Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson attorneys.
