Background:
Attached is a Professional Services Agreement which will formalize the City’s relationship with the lawfirm of Kivell, Rayment & Francis. Joe Francis has handled the City’s title work for a number of years. He is very well qualified, highly respected, and very responsive to requests by the Legal Department and the Department of Engineering and Construction. Due to the number of land acquisitions required for various public improvement projects, it is anticipated that the cost of firm services will be higher than in previous years.
Staff recommends approval of the Professional Service Agreement with Kivell, Rayment & Francis. Attorneys at Law.
Cost: $30,000.00 (not to exceed)
