End
Background:
At the request of the property owner, the City of Broken Arrow is proposing to annex 39 acres generally located south of East Tucson Street (East 121st Street South) and west of County Line Road (South 193rd East Avenue).
Pursuant to Title 11, Section 21-103 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the Council must direct publication of a Notice of Annexation in a legally qualified newspaper of general circulation fourteen (14) days prior to the public hearing notifying property owners abutting any public right-of way that forms the boundary of the territory of the proposed property to be annexed. Staff recommends that the Council approve the Notice and provide for notification in accordance with state law.
