Background:
The Battle Creek Golf Club is located at 3200 North Battlecreek Drive West. The Clubhouse area is being improved to include a covered connection walkway from the Pro Shop to the Banquet Facilities and a Patio Extension with a pergola and gas fire pit.
The project was advertised for bids on November 21 and 28, 2017. Bids were opened on December 12, 2017 and three (3) bids were received. The Certified Bid Tabulation is attached. The lowest responsible bidder was Magnum Construction, Inc., with a base bid of $142,900.00.
Staff recommends awarding the contract in the amount of $142,900.00 to Magnum Construction, Inc.
Funding for the improvements will be from the 2014 GO Bond.
Cost: $142,900.00
