Background:

The Events Park Restroom and Liberty Parkway Trailhead Restroom are 2014 Quality of Life General Obligation Bond projects.  The purpose of the projects is to construct the Events Park Restroom located on New Orleans St at S 209th E Ave and the Liberty Parkway Trailhead Restroom located east of S. Elm Pl. north of Liberty Parkway.  The bid documents included a Base Bid for each restroom building. The project was advertised for bids on August 9th and 16th, 2017.  Bids were opened on September 12, 2017.  Five (5) bids were received.  The low bidder was Builders Unlimited, Inc. with a bid of $197,444.00 for the Events Park Restroom and $193,076.00 for the Liberty Parkway Trailhead Restroom, for a total bid of $390,520.00.  The certified bid tabulation is attached.  Staff recommends award of the Total Bid for Events Park Restroom and Liberty Parkway Trailhead Restroom to Builders Unlimited, Inc, in the amount of $390,520.00.

 

Funds for the work are available in the 2014 General Obligation Bond.
