Approval of and authorization to purchase one (1) 2025 F-550 Regular Cab 4x4 with Versalift VST47MHI insulated articulating telescopic aerial device from Versalift, a Time Manufacturing Company pursuant to Sourcewell Contract 110421-TIM

Background:

In alignment with the budgetary allocation in the Broken Arrow Capital Outlay Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund 330, funds have been approved for the purchase of a new 2025 F-550 Regular Cab 4x4 truck equipped with a Versalift VST47MHI insulated articulating telescopic aerial device for the Information and Technology Department. This acquisition is identified under Project Number [insert project number] in the FY2026 Vehicle Replacement Plan.

To maximize the City’s resources and achieve cost efficiencies, the Maintenance Services Department recommends procuring the vehicle and aerial device through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract 110421-TMI. This contract allows participating agencies to purchase equipment at competitively solicited, pre-negotiated pricing, eliminating the need for a separate bid process while providing substantial cost and administrative savings. Utilizing Sourcewell Contract 110421-TMI ensures compliance with budgetary requirements while securing a high-quality, durable asset to meet the operational needs of the Information and Technology Department.

Following a comprehensive evaluation of available options, the Maintenance Services Department recommends approval and award of the purchase to Versalift Southwest in the amount of $212,820, in accordance with Sourcewell Contract 110421-TMI.
