Background:

The attached Utility Easement is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Jessica Cheyenne Cantwell and Colton Blake Cantwell, the owner. Parcel 27.0 consists of 2,128.48 square feet of utility easement, located at 9625 South 193rd East Avenue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 15 East, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma. Jessica Cheyenne Cantwell and Colton Blake Cantwell have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

Permanent Easement: 2,128 SQUARE FEET (SF) @ $2.85/SF x 75% = $4,549

Permanent Easement Improvements: Mature trees 5 x $475.00 = $2,375

Cost to Cure Damages: Chain-link fencing (4’ cross-fencing) 27 x $19.00 = $513; Replace lamp post 1 x $350 = $350; Gravel paving 310 SF x $2.25 = $698                       Total: $1,561

 

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $8,490

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the Utility Easement. Payment of the compensation amount is on the October 7, 2025 City Council Claims List.
