Background:

Scotfest is an authentic Scottish festival and a celebration of Scottish, Irish and Celtic culture.  This amazing event consists of folk, roots, rock & pop music, highland athletics, pipes & drums, highland and Irish dance. Whisky tastings, vendors and a great selection of beer and food from the Scottish, Irish and British homelands.

Since 2018, this festival has always been held on the third weekend in September in the Broken Arrow Events Park.  With current construction activities occurring in Broken Arrow Events Park, Scotfest will celebrate its 45th year at Central Park.  This year’s Scotfest will take place September 19,2025 through September 21, 2025.

At July 1, 2025, Visit Broken Arrow (VBA) Board Meeting, to further strengthen and enhance the partnership between Scotfest and the City of Broken Arrow, the VBA recommended approval of a 3-year agreement that will ensure continued success for the community.  This promotional license agreement is eligible for two (2) additional renewals if all requirements of the agreement have been satisfied.  Year one (1) of the agreement will be funded by the General Fund.  The General Fund could be reimbursed from hotel rebates through VBA funding in year one of this agreement.  Based on the amount of hotel rooms occupied during year one of this agreement, VBA funds could be utilized for year two of this agreement, and VBA funding could be utilized for year three of this agreement if the hotel rooms occupied in year two justify VBA funding.

Due to the temporary re-location, patrons will continue to utilize Northeastern State University (NSU) for parking.  To facilitate event goers to and from the event, Scotfest will be providing a shuttle service to and from Central Park and NSU.
