Background:

The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from John T. McLemore III and Christine W. McLemore, the owners. Parcel 6.0 consists of 0.19 acres of permanent Right-of-Way located at 12820 South 145th East Avenue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 17 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. John T. McLemore III and Christine W. McLemore, have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

 

Fee simple, Permanent Right of Way: 8,355.50 Square Feet (SF) @ $2.00 SF = $16,711.00

Improvements: Landscaping: (trees) $2,000, Concrete driveway 319 SF x $9.00 = $2,871, Total $4,871.00

Cost to Cure Relocate gate and keypad (1) = $11,795.00

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $33,380.00

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the July 14, 2025 City Council Claims List.
