Background:
This is a project that was included in Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) Loan No. FAP-16-001L. This project will improve operation of the Battle Creek Storage Tank, allowing it to operate more closely with the Tiger Hill Storage Tanks. It will also increase the volume of water available in this area.
During the right-of-way acquisition process, it was determined the design plans had the alignment proceeding through land that was scheduled for development. An alternate route or alignment for the waterline was discussed. This amendment number 2 is for the additional survey and design for the new alignment. The new alignment to be designed will follow the north boundary of the Pack property to the east right-of-way (ROW) of 161st East Avenue. It will proceed north staying in the ROW of 161st East Avenue to 51st Street. Funding for this amendment is available in the existing OWRB loan.
