Title:

title

Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Agreement with Holloway, Updike, and Bellen Inc. for Adams Creek Northwest Lift Station Phase II Study (Project No. S.23110)

End

Background:

This project is for additional flow monitoring in the Adams Creek Northwest Lift Station (ACNW LS) Basin and updating the Engineering Report recommendations for Phase 2 upgrades in this basin. The original flow monitoring was completed in late 2019 as part of the requirements for the ODEQ Consent Order 19-180 another requirement was to complete additional flow monitoring after intermediate improvements had been made in this basin. Improvements done to date include: the Greens LS and Forcemain Improvements, LL34 Subbasin Inflow & Infiltration investigation and repairs, as well as Westwind LS removal. All of these projects have reduced the amount of flow going into the Adams Creek NW basin, this additional flow monitoring will show how much these improvements have reduced the flow and will help provide data for the next steps in improving this basin. Holloway, Updike, and Bellen, Inc. (HUB, Inc.) will also be updating the recommendations for how to bring this basin into compliance with the ODEQ regulations.

An agreement has been negotiated with HUB, Inc. for the Adams Creek Northwest Lift Station Phase II Study for $60,000.00. The agreement will include additional flow monitoring in the Adams Creek NW Basin as well as updating recommendations to the 2019 Adams Creek NW Engineering Report.
